The 14 songs on Unicorn's debut album, Behold & Beheld, range from acoustic singer-songwriter and light pop to louder rock and progressive-inspired songs. The main story behind many of the lyrics is a traumatic childhood, unfortunately, known by too many. 

The songs are melodic with raw emotion and a powerful message; there is hope!

The cover artwork is taken from a real photo album. All the lyrics are designed to represent a moment in a life. The sleeve is hand-assembled with specially imported paper, identical to the typical 70s photo album page dividers.

The album was recorded in Thessaloniki, Greece over a period of 2 months in the summer of 2001.
